Why use a shower filter?
A shower filter is installed in your shower’s water flow. Water passes through a filter medium before reaching the showerhead. Which substances it reduces depends on the specific model and its tested performance.
What should you look for?
Before buying, check the filter’s documented performance, connection requirements and cartridge replacement instructions. A shower filter is not automatically a water softener. Softer water or improvements to skin and hair should not be assumed without supporting evidence.
Installation and care
Follow the installation instructions for your model and replace the cartridge according to the manufacturer’s guidance.
